Telegens Broadband Inc is a broadband networking solutions company, developing the latest technology to deploy securenetworks for broadband wireless communications over the Island of Jamaica from the �first leap� to the last mile for customers locally and globally. We have Island Wide coverage using a very robust, secure and fully redundant wireless backbone (over 30 Towers Island wide). Our mesh broadband platform bridges the last mile, with a point-to-multipoint solution that replaces the local loop for large corporate clients, small businesses, organizations and homes allowing immediate access by computers and other enabling mobile devices. This Network forms the backbone for our Internet, Data, Security, IPTV, Streaming Services + E-Commerce products.

Technology

Telegens Broadband Inc�s system allows first leap high-capacity, point to multipoint or point-to-point wireless network across extreme terrain impediments, for customers who want to bypass wired networks or have no wired options. In order to consistently deliver stable high performance and low latency throughput, Telegens Broadband Inc. operates a sophisticated wireless mesh network, which has a high level of redundancy, which is ideal for the most demanding application. Security is achieved by MPLS and VLANS over the network allowing each customer to have their own virtual circuits allowing customers to do their own traffic shaping etc. Telegens has invested heavily in IPTV, Streaming and E- commerce platforms to allow clients to export their products virtually.

Our History: In 2001, Telegens established a comprehensive Island-wide wireless backbone using Clearwire �Spread Spectrum� technology primarily to serve gaming applications for the Jamaica Lottery Company. Since then the network has been improved considerably and now has broadband capability up to 600 Mbps and serves a wide variety of enterprise client entertainment and Government entities. Telegens Restructured in 2007 to provide triple play services to entities Island wide and regionally. In 2010 Telegens invested heavily in e- commerce platforms, streaming equipment and cloud services to enable us to continue to be the leader in virtual services in Jamaica, with an emphasis on export through Broadband.
